Description

Here for sale is our German built Mercedes Benz 240D. Made in 1982. We moved to USA last year and were members of the Mercedes Benz club for years owning various gems from 1972 through to 1995.

We bought this car in Florida and drove it all the way across America with the Family on our first ever USA road trip. We drove 2766 miles and the engine never missed a beat.

It's really good on fuel and seats are as you would expect super comfortable with no rips or serious wear.

My grandfather from Bath England always said the 240D was the best 123 Mercedes ever made. Better on fuel and with a strong engine.

There is a fully working electric sunroof and the windows are all wind up so less electrics to go wrong.

The seats are in great condition for the age with no rips!

We had a new front tie rod fitted and a rear axel as well.

There is a first aid kit, riginal tool kit and all 5 tyres are Bridgestone with good tread. And a leather folder with various manuals, nd receipts plus a Haynes manual.

Mileage is 112k. Which is very low for one of the these classics.

We had fun driving her all around Florida for 3 weeks and then through Alabama, ississippi, ouisiana (and New Orleans), exas, ew Mexico and Colorado.

We decided to treat her to a new paint job and paid to have the rust cut out and replaced.

The car is automatic and has just had new glow plugs fitted to help with the cold weather here in Denver. She now starts all the time on cold Colorado mornings.

The dash has a few Florida splits and has a new dash cover so you don't notice. Some of the window rubbers could do with being replaced in the future but are fine for now.

The central locking needs fixing so must have a small leak. (Easily fixable)

The car comes with loads of spare parts.

Let me know if you wish to come and view anytime or need any further information.

The car is looking lovely in its new paint job. Its not a show room condition car,

If it was then I would be asking over $25,000.

Many thanks
