89,035 miles

Two time M-100 Group “Best 6.9” show winner in early 2000s, till presents beautifully.

Owned by an SL Market Letter subscriber and long-time M100 Group member since 1990, his 6.9 has always been properly maintained and cared for. One exterior repaint in its correct color in the early 1990s, his is a very presentable 6.9 that's ready to be enjoyed today.

Exterior: Silver Blue Poly (930) – repainted in the early 1990s by Molin’s in Wayne, A. The car was side swiped and sustained light damage to the driver’s side. Body work was performed by Molin’s and then repainted in its correct color. Current cosmetic imperfections include: 2 small dings on hood near left headlight (from a rake handle in the garage) also respray imperfections (3-4) in this area by Molin, 2” crease above wheel well in left front fender, aint touch-up over right taillight (see close up photos of these imperfections).

Interior: The blue leather interior is in wonderful condition and is all original except for an accessory wood shift knob. The leather, ront and back, hows only minimal wear and is not dried out and cracked like so many other cars of this era. There are no dash cracks, ood is in excellent condition throughout, arpet is clean and plush. There are no interior issues.

Mechanical / Driving: This is a well maintained, ast show winner that still drives and presents very well. Acceleration is brisk and immediate. The transmission was rebuilt less than a year ago at considerable expense and shifts through all gears as it should. The steering box was rebuilt under the current owner’s watchful eye just after he acquired the car in the early 90s, teering remains tight and responsive. The speedometer reads about 8 miles per hour low. There are no catalytic converters on the car, he rest of the exhaust / emissions system is in place. It passed smog in Delaware the last time it was tested.

Recent Maintenance Highlights: (not a complete list) Timing chain, ensioners and valve cover gaskets replaced - October 2001 (83,912 miles)
Replaced hydraulic pump – April 2004
Replaced fuel pump, ll injectors and lines – August 2004
The transmission was rebuilt in November of 2015, ew mounts and shifter bushings were installed at that time.
There are less than 10,000 miles on new struts, pheres and hydraulic pump.
*Complete service records from current owner’s purchase in 1990 – present are with the car, ome additional records from 1980 – 1990 are present as well).

There is an extensive collection of original sales literature and service manuals including parts microfiche for USA and Euro versions, lus reader (see photos).

Quite simply, his car is a pleasure to drive and would be a pleasure to own. I would not hesitate to drive this car across the country tomorrow.

Do not hesitate to call me today with questions or if you'd like to discuss the car in greater detail. The right 'But it Now' offer can put the car in your garage today. Clear title present with car.

Research the market, ee what insane prices dealers around the country are asking for mediocre examples of 6.9s (check Hemming's in particular). We have a reasonable price expectation for this long term owner, ell loved, ell maintained example.
