Anthracite Gray Metallic ( DB172 ) . This is a very sound example of the early production run of the W107 series . The early cars were nimble and benefitted from the higher horsepower of 225 h.p. for the model years 1972 and 1973 . The 1974 cars were reduced to 175 h.p. and burdened with the larger ( and far less attractive ) bumper assemblies . This 350SL is a spirited drive, imeless and gorgeous in design . Even though the W107 cars had a long production ru, he early cars are sure to rise in value as time goes on . Please note that this SL was one one of the first 500 cars buil, aking it a historic car to that certain degree . Fitted with factory A/C and original equipment Becker Europa radio . There is no rust under the lip of the rear deck lid . As shown in picture, he invaluable owner's manual set with V.I.N. perforations come with the car .
