Rare 1972 Mercedes 350SL in European trim. Privately imported from Germany in the late '80s. Car remained in the same ownership up until two years ago. Always garaged. Considering the vintage condition the car is stunning: flawless body work and paint. Excellent chrome and trim and very nice interior. Never any accidents or rust damage. Recently updated with new carpet kit, battery, convertible soft top, tires, brake overhaul and engine service this 350 is ready to be driven and enjoyed. Matching hardtop is also included. The car performs as well as it looks. Free revving European 3.5L V8 is seriously fast, brakes stop excellent and transmission shifts smooth and quiet. The car drives and handles beautifully. The car was updated to electronic ignition for reliability. The rev counter has been disabled with this modification but could be reversed if you choose to.
