Description

The car is originally from Birmingham AL and I am the 3rd owner for 20+ years. and it remains in the Alabama area. Car has no sign of rust and original paint is glossy and only a couple of stone chips and one scratch about 1/2 inch long. Driver's carpet is little worn from high heels. Not the original radio. and speakers were added behind the seats. The original first aid kit is there and never been opened. As these cars age. the fuel system tends to rust and cause problems. I have completely redone the fuel system. starting with the tank boiled out and sealed. New fuel pump and filter as well as all the fuel lines blown out and cleared. Fuel distributor rebuilt. Other problems with the 450SL such as the steering coupling. rear suspension links. pipe hangers. various other components have been replaced. I have not checked the A/C this season. It came with a dark green hardtop that comes with the car. The soft top has been replaced and is in great condition. Will answer any questions that I can about the car. Sold this car on ebay once and the buyer tried to scam me. so cash money will be in my hand before the car leaves my property.
