Description

My son bought this car back in 2010 and I later bought it from him. I have taken the old pain down to the metal and professionally repainted it with a poly eurothane primer. pain and clear coats. Did hundreds of hours of sanding and polishing and it really looks sharp. If I could keep it I would replace all of the ball joints. idler arm. muffler. shocks and brakes and also install new points. plugs. plug wires. distributor. vacuum hoses. fan belts and radiator hoses. I would also remove a lot of the engine parts and paint them after cleaning them up. I would also install a Cadillac GPS Stereo AC controller and computerize all of the controls for the AC. Tires. Brakes. Stereo. Hands free phone. etc. Another cool look is a chrome roll bar in the rear seat area. The right rear shock and lower control arm need to be replace because the shock nuts for the bottom of the shock broke off of the lower control arm. I took a clay mold and a marriage plate can be made for under $50 which will allow you to keep the present control arm but you will still need a shock. The car drive fine without the shock but it should be replaced as soon as possible. I also have a lot of spare mercedes 450 SL body and interrior parts that I got from one with a blown engine. I even have the instrument cluster I have two complete doors. front fenders. hood. trunk. convertible lid. moldings. chrome. that is worth thousands that I am throwing in.
