| 1969 MERCEDES 280SL (NOT 230SL 250SL) PRICED FOR FAST SALE. AMAZING 280SL. BEAUTIFUL COLOR COMBO. You are bidding on an amazing tobacco brown over dark tan interior 1969 Mercedes 280SL convertible. This wonderful example of a pagoda will not disappoint you. The perfect and classic color combination sets this car off wonderfully. If you’re familiar with these MB convertibles then you know they have been going up in value steadily over the last few years and will continue to rise for a long time to come. Good examples like this one are becoming harder and harder to find. Please read below for a more detailed description of the different aspects of the car.Body:Nice, straight body lines and gaps throughout the car. No major dents, dings, or damage anywhere to be found. The underside is clean as are all the panels. There is one small piece of rubber trim on the passenger side quarter panel that is missing.
Paint:Clean paint that shines all the way through. The hood and nose have some stone chips as can be seen in the photos and there are a couple very small chips on the driver door. Otherwise the paint is very nice and has held up very well.
Mechanical:Seems to have been a very well maintained car it’s entire life, there are currently no mechanical issues to note. This Mercedes, starts, runs, and drives extremely well. The stereo was replaced with an aftermarket unit that looks like an original Becker but is digitally tuned and has an AUX cable.
