1981 Mercedes 380SL, 110,387 Miles, Same Owner for 16 years!

1981 ME/BE 380SL Convertible Model; Clean, original, unmolested car: I purchased this car from the second owner. The car has always been looked after by professional Mercedes mechanics at dealer, and has been garaged for the last 10 years and well cared for always. Service records included. The latest maintenance to the car was 2 weeks ago includes a new fuel pump, Newfuel filter, oil change,The gas tank was removed cleaned and oldgas drained out. All Fluids changed, antifreeze, transmission, and differential. The brakes should be checked, because the car was in storage but does stop fine.Idles smooth, accelerates without hesitation, shifting with ease through every gear. It has 4 like new tires and new battery.The AC was retrofitted to the new R134a refrigerant and was working but has a small leak. I just spent over $1800 in service. The paint isin nice shape still looks very shape. She does has some minor rust around the bottom of car and by gas cover as seen in pictures it isall original. Missing molding on passenger side fender. The Undercarriage of the car is very clean, frame is perfect!Floors are mint.Everything appears to be original except for the radio.There is no signs of previous body damage. It has a clean Car Fax, indicatingit was alwayspapered. The exterior color is red with a light Palomino/Saddle interior which needs a good cleaning.The interior is inok condition, Seats and dash have some cracks easy fix.Dash cap is sold on Ebay and would look great for $100.00. The woodaround shifter shows some wear.The Heat and A/C work very well, as do all the mechanicals on the car. Everything inside works just the way it should. The top is original Mercedes and will need to be changed down the road does not leak at all, just needs a good cleaning.The windows are clear and crack free. The sound system is an upgraded CD radio and it works perfectly.The trunk is equally clean, like new; no blemishes on the carpets, no stains or smells it’s like nothing was ever in there.The spare tire in the trunk has never been used and appears to have never been on the ground!All tools come with the car.Car also has the original color matching hardtop in great shape and comes with factory tool to take it off.

Car has original owner’s manuals and service records from the dealer. I have allall factory literature for the options, the original hang tags it would have on it in the dealer showroom.The Car has a Clean NY title.
