Mechanically the car is superb. The engine starts right up and runs like new. The idle is perfect and the power is amazing!!!! There are no leaks, smoke, overheating or unusual noises. The engine compartment is very well sorted with good belts, hoses and all other components. The transmission shifts on the mark through all the gears (like new). The brakes, steering and suspension are all in tip top condition. Other than the seats only moving forward and backwards all mechanical, electrical and climate control systems are in proper working order. The seats recline works intermittently and needs to be checked out. Also the up and down height motor on the drivers seat just makes noise when you press button and does not move? The air conditioning blows strong ice cold air. All power options work as they should (windows/sunroof, etc). The car is an absolute pleasure to drive and the entire drivetrain is solid and tight. Clearly the 105,425 original miles currently on the odometer are a low fraction of the Million Mile capability of these cars. Operating systems such as engine, transmission, brakes, suspension, etc. have been reviewed by a local Mercedes-Benz Factory trained technician and he found everything to be in exemplary operating order. The interior is gorgeous! The seats are great with only some minor imperfections on the drivers seat lower side (see pics). The dash is near perfect without only a few minor cracks. Nice wood trim throughout is lifting in a few spots due to age. The carpet is superb without any wear marks, scuffs, or stains of any kind. The car is crisp and clean inside and out, it is impressive.....

-The chrome/trim is near perfect, rubber trim and weather-stripping are soft, un-weatheredand virtually undamaged.

-The wheels are excellent! The Michelin tires are in near new condition.

-The spare tire appears to have never been on the road, the protective factory coating still remains in tact.
