Description

PRICE REDUCED! NEW PHOTOS. Top-off. and Soft Top. Looks new! Dark brown. heavy German canvas. Back window is 85-90% clear. NO dark sponts. Just a little age. Stitching is light color and like new! NO rub spots on the top from being down long periods. Very nice. Car is priced below market. However I will consider (reasonable) offers. This 1989. 560SL has low mileage. 88. 38 (Just over 3. 00 PER YEAR! ) I always drive used cars. I look for certain "conditions" before I buy. THIS car has the best of all of them! More to these great cars than price! (IF you get a 450 or 560SL for a low price. it will have high (150+) mileage and You will have to spend $3000+ on it to get "basic" mechanicals up to driving condition! You can bank on it! Please consider the value THIS car brings now. Without all that extra costs $$. after you purchase it. This Car has always been in a semi-heated garage. Started once a month and warmed up. Eastern Maryland has mild winters. I Have repair records back to day ONE. Never in the north. Driven summer weekends for pleasure by my wife. and wife of original owner. Car has been maintained exclusively by one local Mercedes/BMW repair facility. (head mechanic available for recommendation) Looking at the 'plaque on the radiator support. the interior color seems to be #275 "creme beige". Interiors look unused. Exterior looks like a "smoke silver". (See photo of color plaque) New radio/CD and larger speakers. Recent mechanical work last fall. Over $3000 on 'basics. for its mileage. Steering linkage. gas shocks. all brake pads and rotors. new battery. Excellent tires. Body tight. Starts quickly. Runs and shifts smoothly and with lots of power. Last year of this model. only about 8200 were produced until production stopped. Makes this a pretty rare car. Car was originally purchased by doctor in Tennessee. for his wife. This car is my wife's car. Car was never in rain! body tight. Shifts smoothly. MY mechanic is available to answer questions. We are outside Annapolis. MD/Baltimore. Selling because we bought a boat.
