This car really has 97893 actual miles on it. The car has a spotless history report showing the car spending its ENTIRE life right here in Texas in a rust free environment! As a result the body and undercarriage is completely free of rust. The rear still looks great! This side still looks good! So why does the front end sit so high? It's because the engine has been removed meaning there's hardly any weight up there now. After the engine is reinstalled the front end will return to normal. Soft top is still under here! The soft top is there and can be used but it's not going to hold water out very well. It's been stored in there for decades and has unfortunately split from having been folded for so long. I've never seen an SL owner use the soft top unless it's an emergency so this shouldn't be too big of a deal. Otherwise the top will need to be replaced. Factory hard top included! The factory hard top still looks fantastic! A ding on the driver rear quarter. Can be easily popped out. The paint still looks good and will most likely be just fine with a good polish and buff. As you can see still very nice! This one fender may need to be repainted as you can see the color is a little more flat than the rest of the car. The tires and wheels look great! The car has a set of four matching older Michelin tires that have plenty of tread remaining. The hard top still looks fantastic! The trunk is full of under-hood parts. Driver's door still looks fantastic! You'll be impressed with the condition of the interior! The seats have held up surprisingly well! You can really see how well the car's previous owner kept care of it! Wow! This is a 1983 model! The car was legally imported to the USA! Passenger's door also looks fantastic! Just look at how nice it is in here! Once this car is back on the road you'll be impressing everyone with this car's interior! The seats are simply amazing! The car had to have been garage kept for most of its life! This is the euro model which does have the rear seats. You'd have to be awfully small to fit back there but the car does have seat belts for four! Could easily come in handy at a parade! The car did have an aftermarket stereo at one point which has been removed but the wiring still remains. This seat also looks incredible! That metal part is part of the engine that didn't fit inside the trunk. After market stereo has been removed but the wires are all there to install a new one. Look at how nice that wood trim is! Car has NEVER been smoked in. The ashtray is absolutely spotless! This is the real deal! A super rare 5-speed model! Glove box looks great! It's been a Texas car its whole life! Dash has cracks as most all of these do by now. Original sunvisors look great! Very low original mileage! Here's under the hood. The car literally needs an engine!
