Cons:

• Paint was resprayed at some point its nice but has chips and bubbles in some spots. Mostly on the door or by headlight. You can tell unless you look really closely.
• Chrome wheel needs to be re-chromed. Most of it has been peeled and cracked..These wheels are very common and can be found for cheap!
• Driver side Fog Light cover is missing..Can be found here on EBAY for cheap!
• Driver side seat has a rip on the bottom notnoticeableuntil you look underneath.
• A.C and Heat knobs are broken. They pop out of place..Can be found here on EBAY for cheap!
• A.C. needs to be recharged
• Trunk could use a mat since it didnt come with one when i bought it. You can find that here on EBAY as well
• Tires have about 50% Tread

Anybody who knows the Mercedes R107 body knows its going up in value. If you don't know then just do a quick search andyou'llsee what they're going for on Carsforsale.com Autotrader Hemmings.com etc. This 450SL runs and drives good. Has plenty of power. Transmission shifts smooth. The Light Wipers Power Windows Radio all work. Overall its in pretty good condition. No rust underneath. You can tell the previous owner tried restoring it by painting the car white. It's aprettydecent paint job except for some cracks and bubbles in some spots. The interior was reupholstered at some point as well because it looks new. It comes with 2 hard top/soft top tools. Original Owners Manual. Now everything that i mentioned that was wrong with the car is mostly cosmetic and can easily be found here on EBAY. That's why i never bothered to replace them. Now on some certain bumps you might here a clank noise from the rear but that could just be the trunk not having the cover/mat. I replaced the spark plugs and wires when i got it. I also changed the soft top to an OEM black top. As you can see in the pictures below it was torn up and in really poor condition. All this car needs is some TLC. It is a 40 year old car.
