Car is another one of the five from the private collection of a wealthy cattleman in dry climate Colorado. Originally a Nebraska car just 2 owners from new. Only 500 miles put on it by this 2nd owner before being put away. He passed away years ago and his cars were kept in the family until last winter at which time they decided it was time to part with them. According to the family this gentleman bought his first one new off the showroom floor in December of 1970 (we have that car too) and fell so in love with his car that over the years every time a well-cared for example came available he'd buy it drive it around a little bit and then promptly put it away. The interior in this car will blow you away! The seats and headliner look almost brand new but we believe they are the original seats because we have no records of 2nd owner replacing them. Obviously well care for over the years and the first time in the public eye since put in storage over 22 years ago. We've recently sorted the car both mechanically and cosmetically. A stunning original condition car that would make a great candidate for whatever level you'd like to take it to. Head turner wherever we've taken it! There are a couple paint blemishes here and there and the dash wood is a little buggered up where someone stole the radio years ago. We’ve sent pics and gotten a quote from Madera Concepts to repair and restore all the dash wood to concours condition; $1600 including the windshield bow. We’ve purchased and installed a refurbished Becker Mexico cassette from Becker North American; looks fantastic! Car has the rare heated rear window and appears to be original Sekurit German glass. Also has dual horns. Air suspension works beautifully; will hold air for weeks.
