Texas Classic Cars of Dallas is proud to present this exceptional 1992 Mercedes-Benz 500SL Roadster. This car features the AMG styling package and is complete with maintenance records dating into the 90s. Most recently we have the convertible top cylinders restored. 500 miles ago the transmission received a full service with the cooling lines replaced along with the filters and fluid. The front shocks have been replaced with Bilstein units Meyle boots and stop buffers. The power steering box was replaced approximately 15000 miles ago. The engine motor mounts have been replaced and the instrument cluster serviced. The ignition module has been replaced along with the alternator. The headlamp washer pump has also been replaced. The air conditioning system received a major service 5000 miles ago with a new compressor and dryer installed professionally. The original radiator was also replaced about 2000 miles ago all work documented in a list among other maintenance repairs. The engine oil was just replaced (Mobil 1 Full Synthetic). The exterior displays original sheetmetal throughout under the stunning black base/clearcoat paint. This car is complete with its auxiliary removable hardtop and power-operated black soft top. The Dallas Love Field Frontiers of Flight Museum is the location for many of our photos of this beautiful 500SL Convertible.

The wheels of choice are the updated & coated 18-inch AMG alloys wrapped with Toyo high performance radials all around. These tires are in excellent condition installed new 5000 miles ago.

Open the doors to luxury and performance.

The interior showcases the original leather bucket seating along with power amenities.

The dash displays just shy of 101000 miles with plenty of life left.

Closer inspection of the interior will reveal minimum bolster wear for the mileage. Care has been taken with this car over the years.

Under the hood is the powerful all-aluminum alloy 5.0 litre Mercedes-Benz V8 engine. The engine compartment is very clean and detailed throughout. This powerplant is rated at 322 horsepower at 5700rpms and 354 ft-lbs. torque at 3900 rpms.

The original auxiliary hardtop is in excellent condition paint and glass.The power-operated original black soft top shows well throughout. The power top is functional see the video posted above.

The trunk is complete with the original carpeting along with aftermarket amplifiers & subwoofer for the stereo. The spare tire/wheel is also in place.
