Description

1968 Mercedes Benz 280SL 2dr Convertible 4-speed manual transmission - excellent older restoration.
We believe the mileage to be 110,513 but exceeds mechanical limits of odometer.
A very rare manual transmission car without air conditioning. In the last 5 years the current owner has spent what ever was required to keep this older restoration fresh and mechanically sound while only driving it a little more than a thousand miles. The previous owner purchased the car as a present for his wife, ad it completely restored in New England, nd kept it at his home in Nantucket. Unfortunately his wife never wanted it, iked it, r drove it. I purchased the car from the Nantucket couple and brought it to Virginia where I personally brought the car up to my mechanical standards. The current owner, dear friend of mine purchased the car from me in February of 2010. I can tell you that today it is in better shape both mechanically and cosmetically than it was in 2010.
Comes with factory spare tire, riginal tool kit, riginal jack. New Michelins, ew factory exhaust system, ecent service, ew clutch master and slave cylinder, are Euro headlights
