I am looking to sell this beautiful 1982 240D (diesel) Mercedes Benz with approximately 177,000. This rare, anual transmission car has been kept in a garage the majority of its life, nd I am the third proud owner of this vehicle. This car has more character and quality than any other vehicle I have owned, ut it is time part ways. There are a number of items I have replaced which are not limited to the following:

Transmission fluid flush

Power steering and alternator belts replaced (removed AC belt)

Valve Head Cover Gasket with Valve Adjustment a approximately two thousand miles ago

Throttle Body linkage spacers replaced

Cruise control system (Actuator, witch, nd computer all replaced)

New fuel filters installed

Direct Diesel Purge system flush

Glow Plugs changed

New Battery

Oil and oil filter changed regularly

Manual Glow Plug actuator installed (allows for greater control of glow plugs based on weather conditions)

Changed Fuses

New Clutch Master Cylinder (Slave Clutch cylinder could be replaced and new one is included)

Driver side front coil spring changed (Passenger side should be replaced and new one is included. Can also include the tool necessary for changing for an additional price if interested.)

Heater Core

5 Michelin Defenders with plenty of tread left (Full size spare with jack)

New Speedometer Cable

Rebuilt Instrument Cluster

New Driveshaft Carrier bearing

Rebuilt Differential

New Rear Left and Right Axles

Brake pads are in great shape

Emergency Brake Works Well

Interior in great condition, lways owned by non-smokers

Fantastic Sunroof

New Passenger rear brake caliper (Bendix)

Aside from the work I have done to this vehicle, here are a few items that still need to be taken care of.

There is a slight leak in the door locking vacuum lines, o I disconnected them from the engine to make them manual. The drive side rear window needs a regulator to be fully operational. The passenger front caliper can be sticky and rides the caliper. It does not cause the car to pull, ut it should be replaced sooner than later.

This Mercedes is in fantastic shape for its age, nd she can get you anywhere you want to go. I have done road trips to Florida, aine, irginia, nd beyond. I have no doubt that this car will last another 33 years if properly taken care of.
