Description

1979 Mercedes Benz 450SL. This was a 1family car since new. I bought the car from them in 2013. This would be a great car to restore to new. There is a soft top and a hard top. We have never used the soft top. The mileage was 92,810 when I bought it. Shortly after the odometer stopped working. The current mileage is 92924. We have put less than 500 miles on it since 2013. Starts right up and drives great. Garage kept until the weather is perfect enough to get her out. This is what she needs to be perfect. Power windows are not working, dometer stopped, o antennae, xhaust is missing a bracket at the muffler. Hard top has some tree sap on it(easily removed by detail shop).

Update: My apologies I didn't realize due to the computer restarting and having to reenter the info. I have a lot of questions about rust. There is slight surface rust. There is rust also behind the passenger side seat floorboard. I will be taking more pics tomorrow 7-22 and posting. Thank you for your questions and interest.

Update: after further inspection. there is rust behind the passenger seat floorboard but the undercarriage if car is not affected. (pic attached) also there is no rust behind driver seat or in the front seats or the trunk area or door jambs. The only interior issue is a crack in passenger side door plastic (pic) and fading on console.
