From the tiny hamlet of Klabbole, utside of Umea Sweden, omes this super rare Mercedes 319 Bus. This vehicle features all original paint and an unaltered original interior with seating for 17 passengers. As you may know, hese vehicles are not easy to find, specially in the US. It's estimated that there are only a few hundred left worldwide with this window configuration, robably only 50 of those still with their original interiors, nd obviously just a handful with original paint and the elusive right hand drive. Additionally, his bus is well optioned; featuring an electric door, oof rack, uxilliary lighting, nd tow hitch.
This vehicle was imported to Portland in 2014 by a Mercedes marque collector, t carries a clear Oregon title and can be registered in all 50 States, r easily exported back overseas. Purchase of a SWB 600 now necessitates the sale of this 319, f you're in the market you'll know that they just don't get any more original than this.

With original paint what you see is what you get and you'll like what you see here. No rust issues and a remarkably straight body. On close inspection you'll find a few small dings, ome touched in chips, tc, ut the overall presentation is impressive.

Roof rack shows a few tweaks on the railing but the structural integrity is sound. Ladder assembly is sturdy and solid.

Lights, enses and emblems are all in great shape.

Straight grill and bumper, eadlights lenses show no damage.

The glass is all original, ncluding the windshield. It's picked up one small chip on the right (see photo), ut of the line of sight. Some of the window seals are dry but still functional.

The side door is electrically operated, t works perfectly.

Storage hold in the rear is in great shape.

The interior is completely original and in time warp condition. With the center seats folded down the bus has capacity for 17 passengers. The seats still look terrific after 52 years, t's very rare to find a 319 with an original interior like this. The driver's seat is the only one showing wear, fitted cloth cover keeps it presentable.

The side panelboards are in super condition with no warping or water damage. All of the wood trim inside still looks great.

Ceiling panels and storage nets are all mint.

The driver's area is also very well preserved, ight down to the first-aid kit. All gauges and controls are functioning except for the wipers, hey're being looked into. The myriad of unmarked knobs and switches are all explained in the owner's manual. The odometer reading of 159K kilometers equals about 105K miles.

The flooring in this bus is exceptional, nd again, ll original.

The side door seals well and operates precisely.

Factory Behr heater plus one added on the right side. Fresh air vents up front and a nifty sun visor. The bus has had servicing here in Portland at Hartmann Motors and is ready for the road.

The OM636 motor starts easily and runs smoothly. While its performance is, h, eisurely, his bus runs down the road with a good solid feeling and no quirks or problems. New shift linkage bushings have been installed and it goes through the gears smoothly, p or down. Runs cool and brakes well.

The bus comes with a fantastic assortment of brochures and a full set of manuals. Service records, tarting instructions and importation paperwork is included, s well as a tool kit.

The undercarriage shows no sign of accident damage or rust issues.
