I bought this car in July of 2002 and it has beenmy daily driver for the past 12 years until just over a year ago when I purchased a newer (05)Benz Diesel to takes it's place.When I bought it in 2002 It had been in aminoraccident and only needed a left front fender. It had a salvage title at the time, ut when Titled it in TN it can back with a Clear Title I have no idea why. I have pics of the damage if desired, ll I replaced was the right front fender period, verything else is original. I hated the stock wheels so I bought a set of later model Benz aluminum wheels which I think really helped set off the look of the car. Over the next decade I maintained the car as needed and replaced the front shocks/struts, njectors, low plugs, ront rotors & pads and many front suspension parts and new battery. The Transmission has 100k on it. It has been a great car and still drive and handles well.The w124 Mercedes is considered one of the best if not the best engineered car ever built with many ownersachievingover 1 million miles on their W124's. These cars, specially the diesels are still being used as taxis inEurope because of their superior dependability andlongevity.I do not know the true actual miles, ut the car showed 132,000 miles on it in 2002 and I have run that up to just over 200,000 miles in the time I've owned it.Off the line power is a littlesluggish, ut once rolling and on the turbo boost it runs good. The car drives & handles very good IMO. I really hate to give it up, ut I have 3 other vehicles as well andthenewer Benz in now my daily driver.The car has a 94/95 E300 hood and Euro type projection headlights. Thecar has been repainted some time back, t looks decent and has misc dents and dings you'ed expect from a 24 year old car. I tried to show any and all defects inthepics as best as I could. The heat, C, ower seats etc.. all work well. All windows work except the left rear and the window motor tested good so it's some wiring issue. The Sunroof doesn't work which never bothered me as I don't use them.I have been using Mobil 1 syn oil in this car it's entire life with me and the only other issue is that previous owner epoxied over the oil drain plug for some reason so I have been using a Minivac to suck the oil out from the top instead of the drain plug. This works for me as the oil filter is also on the top so I never have to lay on the ground to change the oil, big plus for me as I do most of the regular maintenance on my cars.I installed a bluetooth enabled CD player and upgraded the speakers, ut the powerantennadoesn't work. The tires are Bridgestone's in good condition with aprox 50% tread left.This should be a great solid & safe car for you or your kids.Please ask any questions you may have a happy bidding.
