A good friend of mine told me aboutthis fabulous Mercedes, is boss wanted to sell. It was purchased brand new from a dealer in Detroit Michigan on June 26, 987, or his Wife. Ironically, purchased a 1975 Cadillac Eldorado convertible from this same person 35 years ago. I am a car guy and own several antique and classic cars, ut usually foreign cars are not my thing. When my friend told me the car only had 60,000 actual miles and that it was in excellent condition, decided to have a look. I've always loved the looks of these Mercedes roadsters, ut tend to favor brass era antiques and 50's classics. After seeingand driving this car, bought it. It drives and handles like it's a new car. I have only put about 100 or so miles on it, aking it out for dinner and showing it at our local car shows. The color is called blue black, ut to me it looks like a dark grey metallic with aslight blue hue. The leather interior is a buckskin color. There is both the hard top, hich has an excellent headliner and the soft top, hich is in excellent condition except for a tiny tear between the rear and quarter plastic windows. I did purchase a storage rack and cover for the hard top, hich will go with the car. This Mercedes has new tires, hich were installed about 9 months ago, ut have only a few miles on them. Also there are chrome spoke wheels, nstead of the stock ones. There is also new factory Mercedes script floor mats in the car and the old ones (good condition) are in the trunk and included in this sale. This car was Ziebart protected when the car was new (I have original receipt) and has zero rust. There is an original factory first aid kit in the trunk. This car has the upholsteredrear seats with belts. I don't know whether that was an optional item. The engine is 5.6 liter V-8 with fuel injection. Dash board is beautiful with no cracking or warping. Mechanically this Mercedes is in excellent condition and drives and handles like its a new car. Steering wheel is covered in leather. I also have a folder full of the factory ID and warranty plates, indow sticker ($60,080.), anuals, eather Mercedes script key holderand maintenance books. If you like Mercedes 560 SL's, onsider this fabulous 60K mile original. You will not be disappointed with this beautiful Mercedes.
