Description

This Mercedes is converted to run on vegetable oil.
Has a two tank system that was professionally installed. The tank and valves are Greasecar components. The car starts on diesel and is switched to vegetable oil when the engine reaches operating temperature. There is a heating coil located inside the fuel tank for cold weather operation.
The car runs, tarts very well and has been very reliable. The body and under carriage are structurally sound. The body is in fair condition as it has been repaired over the years and there are defects in the body repairs. Has some rust in wheel well. Below average amount of rust for a New England car this age.
New Cooper tires installed. Full size spare included, lso new.
Kenwood cd player with remote control.
The engine is solid with no issues runs excellent. Transmission operates as it should. Fuel system has been serviced and new glow plugs installed. The car has the engine block plug- in heater that works well. I have driven this car for almost 11Yrs.as my daily driver, t gets 24 MPG fuel mileage. The Air conditioning has been converted to R134A refrigerant. AC clutch rebuilt and power steering pump resealed. Belt and water pump has been replaced. Also seat bottom cushion springs have been upgraded to the newer style. These were a problem in this vintage car.
Just replaced some front end components, he car rides smoothly with no clunks and tracks straight on the highway.
