1967 230SL solid driver car. Has been in our family since 2007 but never driven on the road. We got it running when we first bought it. When I bought it, t was missing a fair number of items. We pieced it together from the Pagoda club parts resources and Ebay. There were also a number of boxes of labeled parts that came with it that parts that were simply not installed. For a while this was an enjoyable jigsaw puzzle. I always had the intention of completely restoring the car but health reasons have put an end to my plans. I have bought too many projects and need to sell all of them.

The car runs and lot drives now; however it requires a complete servicing and the brakes should be checked and possibly replaced. It is a very attractive car with the bright red exterior and a palomino vinyl interior. The former owner seemed to have upgraded some of it to 280SL parts - please check the pictures. The vehicle ID matches the title but does not begin with 113. This would be a very easy restoration to a great driver. This car appears to have had an amateur restoration before I bought it, o there is no rust. Paint is nice but has some imperfections. Great car to drive and restore gradually. Included are the original hub caps and two trim rings.

I started it up again about 6 weeks ago and it leaked gas from the fuel pump so I installed a new W107 pump which people say works well for these cars. It needs some small details like the seats completely bolted down and windlace for the windows. We bought and installed numerous new parts including a new windshield in 2012 and a new turn signal switch 2013 and a brand new black cloth soft top that was just installed in the last couple of weeks. Hard top headliner is beige but not OEM. Rear trunk star, 30SL sign and handle are gold. Included are tools, mergency light, riginal jack, pare, tc.
