1989 was the last year of production for this iconic Mercedes Classic R-107 Chassis with only 8,251 units produced that year. It's by far the most collectible year of the 560 SL run. The '89 560 SL sold for $64,300 new. This car is a stunning example of a well cared for and preserved classic. It's not exactly show quality but well above what you typically find available un-restored. It's beautiful styling and great condition turns heads everywhere it goes. The previous owner was the famous Southwest Impressionistic Painter, Robert Daughters". Robert and his family took great care of this car.White with blue interior is a very sought after color combination allowing you to see all it's beautiful lines. The Soft Top perfectly matches the interior and show no signs of wear at all.The headliners in both tops are in excellent condition. This is a turnkey collector car. It does not need anything in the way of repairs or restoration. It's ready to be driven now.
