Description

This is a 1962 Mercury Comet S-22 2 door sedan with the original 170 inline 6 and 3 speed on the column transmission. This car is optioned with sport S-22 package with bucket seats and console, nd factory add-on air conditioning. Still has the Original Ocean Turquoise patina paint and mostly original interior.
Its licensed and inspected, his is my only car and it's a great daily driver, drive it on average 200 miles a week. The heater works great, t does not overheat, tays at 180 all day. All new suspension from front to back. New ball joints, ontrol arms, way bar links, ushings, ront shocks. New rear leaf springs, hackles, ushings, ir shocks fully ride height adjustable, nd its lowered 3 inches. Everything works, ights, orn, ipers, tc.... has good tires. This car is a true survivor and has no rust underneath, uns and drives great and would be the perfect vehicle to do a V8 swap, S1 swap, otrod, atrod, r restore back to original.
Of course a car of this vintage has some issues: the A/C works but it's not cold, he interior needs new carpet and driver door panel, he previous owner painted the right front fender otherwise the rest of the paint is original, he oil pressure sending unit has a small leak, ot enough to have to add oil but it leaks. The only reason I'm selling it is because I need a truck. I have a clear Texas title in my name.
