Description

This car was bought in 2004 from the original owner. I've been working on it to sell for my daughter's college $. These are ACTUAL MILES when I bought it at 75546. It now has 75763 on the new engine, which is 217 miles. It needs another 283 miles for break in on engine, then the oil needs to be changed. Has original owner's manual and warranty cards. As pictured, I have the MARTI REPORT with the original BUILD SHEET and WINDOW STICKER. This also gives the production of all 1967 Mercurys which show there are only 10 convertibles ever built with 428 4 speeds and only 1 is painted Sage Gold. This paint sometimes looks green, sometimes looks gold - hard to explain. Only a couple of rust spots in the whole car. Floors and trunk are still like new. Comes with a extra Hurst competition plus shifter. The engine and transmission were professionally built by Dan Calahan who has 45 plus years of experience. It was bored 30 over, ALL BALANCED, new rings, bearing, cam, oil pump, crank polished, oil filter, carb kit, fuel pump, gaskets, air cleaner, new brakes, gas tank and weather stripping. Heads were done by World Champion Stock Eliminator Marlin Bogner. Interior by Gene Carwin which included new carpet, seats, dash and top with a GLASS rear window as ordered when new. Body work and paint by Steve Couch which was finished in PPG base coat and clear coat, new chromed bumpers by LKQ and stainless polished and straightened by Loyd Searles. New windshield and tires. I didn't put exhaust because it is in good shape and I figured if I put on stock, the new owner would want after market or vise versa. It is missing one body plug on bottom and floor and windshield washer bottle and fillers for rear bumper but I am still looking. You will love the way this car rides and drives. BUYER PAYS ALL SHIPPING AND HANDLING. THE BEST WAY TO CONTACT ME IS BY PHONE. PLEASE CALL ME 303-90-STEVE WHICH IS 303-907-8383. THANK YOU AND GREAT LUCK BIDDING. This car is original engine transmission rear end and WON the NHRA points meet in Sioux Falls, SD a long time ago. Deposit due in 24 hours and balance due in 3 days.
