Up for sale in 'as is' condition is a 1984 Mercury Colony Park Wagon. This wagon has been used as our 'lake car' at our family cabin in Northern WI but it is time to let her go. We bought the car with about 16K miles on it 6 years ago.
Overall the body is solid with only one small spot of rust bubbling up (pic) under the 'Colony Park' emblem on the side. There are several spots of sap on the car from sitting outside.
The interior is clean. The headliner is falling. The woodgrain on the interior door panels have been scratched off (pic) probably from someone with too many rings.
Currently the car is not running. Last summer we found out it needed a new water pump. The car will start but it will not keep running without constant addition of starting fluid etc. When it is running it is a very strong car. We made several 300+ mile trips in it.
So this would be a good project car for someone looking for an east restoration. Sold asiswith no refunds.
