Description

67 Cougar "A" code 289 4V automatic. This car has been in storage for the last 19 years and is in overall nice original condition, ut would need a full restoration to be a show car. The paint is all original except for half of the passenger door and fender (the only spot with filler on the car). There are parking lot dings on both sides of the car. Theseats need work, utthe dash pad, oor panels and rear seat panels are good original condition. It needs a new headliner. The original 289 is out of the car on a pallet disassembled needing to be rebuilt, ut is complete from the carb to the oil pan and is included with the car. Currently there is a strong running 302 with headers in the car. Both front floor pans need to be repaired (see pics), ut have been rust treated. Patch panels are included. The rear floors are excellent. The lower corners of the rear window will need minor rust repair. There is some rust in the trunks area too (see pics), ut the car is very solid. Factory console car, hich is currently just sitting in the car. The Marti report is included with the car, t sold new in Portland Oregon, nd has spent its life in the local area. It is currently running and driving, ut I would go through the brakes before considering it fit for the road. The headlight vacuum lines/doors need work, ut the lights work fine. The Styled Steel wheels are original to the car including the matching spare. Original blue Oregon plates are on the car.

In the last few months the following new parts have been added:

Complete dual exhaust.

Holly 600 carburetor

Headlight switch

Water pump and thermostat

Carpet set and kick panels (not installed)

The BFG tires are older, ut have very few miles on them.

A deposit is due at the end of the auction, ut I will work with the buyer on the timing of the balance due as long as it’s within reason. Buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements, ut I am happy to assist in the process.

I can be reached at 503-932-2032 if you would like to discuss any details about the car.
