In 2012 the Mercury underwent several changes: the motor was changed to 426 Hemi built by Mopar Performance with amuminum heads,hydrolic cam and MSD,2-500 Edelbrock 4 barrel carbs, 50 amp alternator, arch serpentine pullys,powder coated exhaust manifold,quick time bell housing mated to Chevy 3 sp o/d trans. 3.08 Chevy II rear.Fatman front end,pw rack/penion,new aluminum radiator with twin ele. fans,ABS power ele. brackes,power door locks,60/40 Cadallic pw heated ele. seats,on-board compressor for raising and lowering the rear,New roll and pleat white upholstery,new Mercedes Cloth white top. It has a 1949 Mercury dash with Classic instruments,state of the art complete music system with back-up camera. Heat and air.5 new Diamond Back ww tires, omes with4 57 Cadallic hubcaps,flush mounted fender skirts,53 Desoto bumpers and grill, s fueltank and neons.
