This is a RUST FREE and very nicely restored/updated 79 MG B. I bought this car a few years ago as a completely disassembled project. The car already had extensive. professionally preformed body and rust repairs and the color had been changed to Brooklands Green (a year correct color). but it was otherwise a rolling shell plus many boxes of new and used parts. Over time I have brought the car to the level it is at now. During the past several months I have put about 1000 shake down miles on the car without any failures. Every system has been attended to. all lights. horns and gauges work and I feel that now is the time to let the car go to another owner. Engine has been completely rebuilt. 4 speed transmission has had. front seal. clutch. pressure plate. throw out bearing and lube replaced. powder coated front cross member. refinished a-arms and sway bars. all suspension bushings replaced front and rear. lowering springs in front and lowering blocks in rear. Tourist Trophy polished stainless exhaust. 2 Brand New SU HS4 carbs with factory pre-1975 intake and exhaust manifolds. new flexible brake and fuel lines. powder coated and rebuilt front calipers. refinished and recut rear drums. new shoes and brake hardware. detailed rear axle. new fuel tank and sending unit. new Die Hard Battery. refinished Rostyle wheels. detailed under hood and in trunk. I'm so nuts I even painted the Jack. new dash pad. new perforated vinyl seats. new interior panels and carpet. refinished rubber bumpers look better than new. As I stated this car was purchased in a disassembled state therefore I make no claim as to the correct mileage. The Odometer I got with the car now shows 49xxx miles (being driven regularly so miles will increase) but it can not be confirmed as being accurate. I do want to mention that there are some small imperfections to the exterior from storage and moving which I am glad to point out to any interested bidders. That being said this car drives. sounds and looks better than any 79 MG B did when new. The car is priced to sell and available for in person inspection and test drives! don't wait see this one while you can! I have a clear NJ Title in my name. All invoices and receipts available for inspection and same will be provided to buyer. I am only selling this car because I have other MG B's and my current project needs the space.
