1952 MG TD Only 34. 00 Original Miles on this Beautiful 3 Owner Charmer This TD is an amazing find. Our seller purchased this 34. 00 mile MG-TD from the second owners estate in 2002. It had been stored properly (wheels up/off the ground) for over 20 years prior to the purchase. In 2005. it was decided that the MG would be restored as necessary to make a reliable driver that could be enjoyed as often as possible during the rather short driving season for collectable cars in our part of the world. At this time. new paint. interior. tires and and a rebuilt engine were in order. (Although the mileage was very low. sitting unused for so long caused concern and the decision was made to rebuild the engine. ) The top appears to be original. and it is in "good" condition (see pictures). The side curtains are serviceable. but could use restoration to bring them to the level of the MG overall. Very few miles have been enjoyed since completion of this restoration work. and just before it came to us to be sold. our sellers asked their mechanic to "go through" the car to make sure it was ready for the new owner. As such. The fuel tank was cleaned. the carbs were rebuilt. and it received a fresh tune up. It should be ready for your enjoyment when it arrives in your driveway!
