Description
I bought this car over the winter as a fun little project to work on. Now that the weather has warmed up I have tons of other projects that need to get done (roof on the house remodeling etc). I dont really have time and need the money so the car has to go.About the car: Nice Paint (original?) Nice chrome. Very nice rims and almost new tires. Undercoated many years ago and is now starting to flake off. Actual mileage unknown. What I have done over the past five months:Interior: New front and rear seat upholstery. NEW FOAM and WEBBING as well...look and feel like new. Matching arm rest. New carpet. New stereo (pioneer w/bluetooth) and speakers.Engine: Cleaned and Rebuilt carbs (master rebuild kit). New exhaust rings (fixed exhaust leak). New side "tappet" cover (replaced the old leaky kind). Adjusted valves. New silicone valve cover gasket (replaced the very old cork gasket). New spark plugs. Valve adjustment.Exterior: Polish and wax paint. There are some rust spots that are under the paint but no flaking or crumbling. Took pictures of most paint flaws prior to polish and wax so you can know what to expect.I finished the install of interior a few weeks ago and have only driven around town and to work a few times. Starts drives and runs well. I get a lot of looks and several people have approached me in parking lots to complement and ask questions about it. Not a show car but is a very respectable daily driver IMO.There are a few things still to do if I have time to get around to them. If not you can do easily yourself.1. Re-Install seat belts2. Install 13 inch Moto Lita Steering wheel (already purchased)3. New door cards (NOT purchased yet)Comes with two sets of keys and some left over gaskets and Haynes repair manual. I have put a couple thousand $ into improvements and quite a few hours of work. I would personally value this car at around $7K but I know you never get what you think. Make an offer. Glad to answer any questions. Would like to sell soon make an offer.
