Description
California car kept in garage used only for fun. With the tight MGB suspension those Bridgestone tires really hug the curves on a winding road. Extra benefit: no smog check required since it's pre-'75. You will enjoy being asked about the car at least twice every time you take it out. And I'll bet you'll like the throaty exhaust sound. Three years ago I bought the car from a guy who told me that he bought it from an estate sale of a man who always garaged it and only used the car for occasional fun. I don't know whether it's true but it sounded to me like a good story. The way the car looked supported his story and that's what mattered to me. I too have kept the car garaged and only used it for fun....and if you do the same the paint will continue to look great for decades. As I mentioned in the ad a pre-1975 auto doesn't require smog check. And incidentally since it's a collectible I've got full insurance coverage with a specified value of $9300 for only $131 annual premium. (The company is American Collectors' Insurance.) One small windshield chip one tiny paint chip on left rear fender one scratch on right rear fender one very small hole in side of top. Other than those blemishes perfect condition. (A collector told me he's 95% sure that the paint is original from the factory in England--But I'm not convinced. It's really good though.) The Bridgestone tires show age but have at least 50% tread left. The interior looks almost brand new. Does it leak oil? Only about one drop every week or so. Does it burn oil? No. Does it have rust? None that I've seen. Bottom line: This is a good looking great running car that gets lots of compliments.
