Description
Rare rubber bumper car produced for 6 months before GT imports ceased. Rare dealer added Air Conditioning that works. Mostly original car with no hidden damage or bondo. Low miles at 39K. Everything works (gauges lights etc). I would drive it cross country. Local car sold at Scott Welch Motors in Nashville now on third owner. First owner bought as Sunday driver. Original owner’s wife burnt out Clutch and it sat in the garage where all the little dents and scratches happened. Second owner bought it and had some work done. He had a new clutch installed had the valves done with hardened seats and kept it till he downsized his collection. I bought it and immediately started driving and fixing small things. I’m a perfectionist. We have put eight thousand miles on it and my wife now has knee problems and can’t get in and out of it. Bought a Sunbeam for me (us) and she says let’s sell the MG. Things I’ve done to the car mostly because of age and my desire to have it ready for long range driving:
