Excellent body, ew paint, 6k on rebuilt engine, eally nice example
I don’t know the history of this car but bought it from someone near where I live. I was told the engine was rebuilt 16,000 miles ago ( was told the odometer was reset to zero when the engine was done and, ure enough, 6,045 miles on the odometer)….my tests, close to exactly 150 psi compression in every cylinder, 0+ psi oil pressure when warm, o smoke cold or hot, uiet valves…..all are ‘factory perfect’ and I would suspect what I was told was accurate.When acquired, eemed to have original paint, aded, o rust, o dents, o signs of bondo, nd incredibly straight. Had it repainted in base coat/clear coat acrylic black (which, n a car, hows every flaw), and wet sanded and buffed, nd it is laser straight. And with its new chrome, bsolutely gorgeous.Interior isn’t very old, s in very good condition as is the dash….original gauges, witches, nd everything works. Brakes were just redone, as a good top and side curtains, teering is excellent as is ride, andling, nd directional stability.It isn’t gonna win any major shows but, n the other hand, ould look great at a ‘local show’ or for enjoyable, eliable driving. Starts instantly, uns perfectly, as better compression and oil pressure than 90% of the MGAs for sale, reat paint, ice interior, nd really doesn’t miss a beat.
