Description

FULLY RESTORED 1952 MG-TD ROADSTER.
BEING A ANTIQUE AND CLASSIC CAR OWNER MYSELF FOR OVER 30 YEARS I HAVE SOLD MY OWN AUTOMOBILES ALONG WITH MANY CARS OF MY FRIENDS FROM OUR CAR CLUBS WITHIN THE U.S. AND OVER SEAS CUSTOMERS FOR MANY YEARS WITH ALWAYS POSITIVE FEEDBACK AND HAPPY AND POSITIVE TRANSACTIONS.
HERE WE HAVE A BEAUTIFUL EXAMPLE OF A CLASSIC MG THAT I AM LISTING FOR A CLOSE FRIEND OF MINE WHICH IS GETTING UP IN HIS YEARS AND HAS DECIDED TO DOWNSIZE A BIT.
AFTER DRIVING AND ENJOYING THIS CAR SINCE 1991 THIS BEAUTIFUL TD HAS UNDERGONE A FRAME OFF RESTORATION THAT WAS COMPLETED 3 YEARS AGO AND HE HAS PUT ONLY 300 MILES ON IT SINCE THE RESTORATION.
THE BODY WAS REMOVED WITH THE ENTIRE FRAME BEING PAINTED.FRONT SUSPENSION WAS GOOD AND TIGHT SO THAT WAS LEFT ALONE WITH THE ENGINE BEING REBUILT WITH A NEW CLUTCH.
THE TRANSMISSION AND DIFFERENTIAL ARE ALSO SOUND AND ALL OF THE BRAKES HAVE BEEN REPLACED.
THIS IS A TURN KEY AUTOMOBILE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE IT SHOULD WITH NO ISSUES.
THE RUST FREE BODY AND FENDERS WERE PROFESSIONALLY RESTORED WITH A BEAUTIFUL COAT OF RED AND IS SMOOTH AS GLASS WITH NO ORANGE PEEL.YOU WILL NOTICE A SMALL MARK IN THE PAINT ON THE LEFT FRONT FENDER WHERE THE FENDER ROUNDS OUT FROM THE FRONT TO SIDE.
ALL OF THE INTERIOR INCLUDING THE COMPLETE DASH,GAUGES,STEERING WHEEL,ALL UPHOLSTERY,CARPET ETC HAS BEEN REPLACED,A NEW RADIATOR SHELL,FULL EXHAUST SYSTEM,BRAKES,BODY WELTING AND COKER WIDE WHITES AND A NEW TOP COMPLIMENT THIS RESTORATION.ALL PARTS WERE PURCHASED FROM MOSS MOTORS BECAUSE OF THEIR QUALITY OF PARTS.
THE ONLY FLAWS THAT YOU WILL SEE IS THE GRILL BARS HAVE SOME LITE DINGS AND THE BEFORE MENTIONED TINY CHIP IN THE PAINT ON THE VERY FRONT CORNER OF THE FENDER ALONG WITH THE LEFT FRONT FROST PLUG THAT HAS STARTED TO SEEP "PICTURED" THIS FALL. THIS CAR HAS BEEN TRAILERED WHERE EVER IT GOES AND IT SHOWS.
THIS AUTOMOBILE IS NOT WHAT YOU WOULD CALL A EXACT NUT AND BOLT RESTORATION BUT IT IS AS CLOSE AS YOU WILL FIND FOR A AUTOMOBILE THAT WAS RESTORED FOR THE OWNER HIMSELF AND NOT FOR RESALE.LOOKING AT THE UNDERSIDE ALL THE WAY DOWN TO THE PAINTED SEAT BRACKETS GIVES YOU A IDEA OF THE GREAT DETAIL THAT WAS PUT INTO THIS RESTORATION.
THIS AUTOMOBILE STARTS,RUNS AND DRIVES LIKE A MG-TD SHOULD AND WILL GIVE YOU YEARS OF PLEASURE.
A BEAUTIFUL CAR WITH A FAIR RESERVE.
HAPPY BIDDING!
