Description

Very nice 1960 MGA 1600 Roadster in excellent driving condition. Engine is quiet, olds good oil pressure and runs well. Car is very tight, o rattles. Engine fitted with Weber Carb, tarts easy and idles correctly. Car shifts well but I noticed that downshifting from 3rd to 2nd rakes a bit. Tires are excellent Kumos and pretty new having almost new tread. Wheels have nice set of trim rings. All brakes, lutch, lectrics work as they should including all gauges, ights, tc. Dash is excellent too. The body is rust free as well as the frame as seen in the photos. Paint shines well with some normal light scratches, hips, tc. Very respectable paint, nd trim, ewer front and rear bumpers, rille is nice too. All door lines, ender, ood, runk alignment is good. Previous owner never used top, ut it is decent and works as it should. He never fitted the side curtains so there are no attachments for those on the doors or door top trim. There are no side curtains.Carpet is clean and in good condition, he seats are OK but I'd look to recover at some time, oor cards and kick panels are good and look new. Windshield has a tiny chip on the passenger side near the middle but does not hamper vision. I reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time as the car is for sale locally. I try to describe my auctions with much detail so there are no surprises and encourage phone call with any questions. Please do not bid trying to figure out the reserve. If you have the winning bid....you get it!! Non-refundable deposit of $500.00 is due within 48 hours of auction end. I will assist in shipping but buyer must make all arrangements in advance. This MGA 1600 has a low reserve and will make a wonderful driver for someone. The car really needs nothing. The car is PA inspected til May, 016 and there is a clear PA Title. I inadvertently listed the wrong VIN#. The correct one is GHNL194196. Sorry. I have 2 MGA's for sale and got the titles mixed. Clear title.
