Description

The car is a good driver that I wouldn't hesitate to drive anywhere with the character you would expect of a 38 year old car. Yes it does have rust. but there is no rust on the structural areas of the car and the floors are solid. I bought this car with the intention of slowly restoring it as I drive it. but I’m having a second kid and I would like to sell a few of my two door vehicles. so I can buy a four door. I have 12 cars and only one is a four door. The car is mechanically sound and has minor upgrades. such as engine performance items. exhaust. wheels and seats. The car has the patina you would expect of a car of this vintage and that's what made me want to purchase it. It's not too nice to get in and drive whenever you would like and it's not too far gone where it would take an extensive restoration to make it perfect. It has a 998cc A+ engine and has had a recent tune up. brake maintenance and replacement fuel pump. Other than possibly needing new tires at some point in the future. I’m not aware of anything else that the car needs. I have taken it to several car shows and club cruises. so I check over the car often to make sure everything is in good working order. I have several pictures of the car and will be happy to answer any questions about it or provide additional photos. Please ask any questions you might have before bidding. I can deliver a car for a fee. but please negotiate this with me before bidding. I also have the car for sale locally and reserve the right to cancel the auction at any time. I expect a nonrefundable deposit of $500 within 48 hours of the auction ending and payment in full within 7 days. I have a clean NJ title for the car and had no issues with registering and insuring the car. On Feb-25-15 at 07:13:27 PST. seller added the following information:As requested. below are additional close up photos of the problem areas from this morning. I'm not trying to hide anything and want to make sure people know the car is not perfect. but I still feel that this car can be enjoyed as is. My plans were to replace the doors since they are easy to get. paint in front of the right door. paint the hood and trunk and leave the rest as is. Based on my discussions with the previous owner it's been exactly like it is for many years and hasn't got worse. The only thing that has got worse since I've owned it is the paint peeling on the hood. since I drive the car a fair amount and the wind catches it. I'm happy to discuss with anyone that's interested in the car and will provide as many details about it that I can.
