Description
1992 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4; leather interior, spd, ith 102K miles I believe that this is a 2 owner adult driven car that has always been garaged, ell maintained and not abused. This is not a show car but one that is driven and I would rate its condition as 9 out of 10 on that basis. The paint is original and has a few rock chips and door dings but still shines like new. The chrome rims were rechromed a number of years ago and they have a few bubbles on them but look good at 10 feet or more. If you are seriously looking at this car then you may know some of features that were well ahead of their time. The car is a twin turbo V6 rated at 310hp from the factory but this one has had a few very minor tweaks to give it bit more. It has ALL wheel drive, djustable suspension from the dash, -wheel steering, nd an active aero package. The attached pictures should give a good representation of its condition. I’ve owned the car for almost 10 years and have its history going back to 2000. I’m about 95% sure on the two owner statement but could not find my copy of the Car Fax to verify for sure. I will include my factory shop manuals with the purchase. I will not sell to international buyers directly as I got stuck with an exchange charge last time. The vehicle is up for sale locally and could end this auction early for a local sale. Recent work: Last month replaced the A/C compressor as it was leaking New tires ~100K Replaced transaxle and transfer case as the splined shaft between them rounded off (known issue for this car) ~ 97K miles Upgraded clutch added – While apart for transaxle replacement Rebuilt turbos – easier access with transaxle removed Replaced the two front ½ shafts and front bushings – torn boot led to replacement ~90K Water pump replaced along with timing belt (pump started to leak) ~92K Replaced electrolytic capacitors in ECU and air condition controller (known leaking cap issue leads to most failures) Mods (~75Hp bump): Replaced exhaust from base of turbos back to just behind the catalytic converter – added larger diameter pipes, emoved pre-cats and replaced factory converter with high flow model due to original line failure. Car recently passed Texas emission test. Added side pod gauge housing with Turbo boost and Fuel/Air mixture gauges Added Greddy Turbo Boost controller – set to conservative 12psi (max is 15psi) where stock is 7 psi (Factory unit still installed with lines capped) Added Greddy Blow off valve – still have original in box K&N air filter Custom cool air intake box
