Description

1947 Nash 600 Brougham 2 Door Coupe Known for its innovative unibody design and driveability Nash is a unique brand with much history and tradition. This 47 Nash is a low mileage car in good driveable condition. It can be driven around town or taken to your local car show with no disappointments. This Nash runs excellently. It starts up with ease and I had it up to 70 mph and it did not show any problems. No overheating and good oil pressure. The engine is a flathead six 172.6 cid. with a three speed manual transmission that has a column shifter and a good clutch. The brakes work including the parking brake. And the suspension is good. The interior is in great shape. It appears to have been reupholstered many years ago with the correct materials. The windows all crank and the glass is intact and with no cracking. Everything works including the gauges lights and radio. The body is in good condition. We went through it and couldn’t find any bondo anywhere. It had one paint re-spray many years ago and still looks very presentable with some minor deterioration in some areas. The stainless is in good condition. The trunk is very solid. Although trunk mat is worn there are no rust holes underneath. The exhaust is also in good shape. This car was originally from Oregon and appears to have never seen a winter. The undercarriage is in exceptionally good condition and very solid with some surface rust which is to be expected. There is no undercoating covering up sins. And in some places the original paint is visible. Please see pictures. Includes Nash Owner’s Manual Nash Technical Handbook on Body Repair and Nash literature. Also includes extra NOS parts in the box: clutch water pump and fuel pump. Clear title. Odometer reads: 36395 Mileage appears to be consistent with the condition. The engine number matches the identification number on the title. Sold as is. Please see pictures.
