I have finally decided to put our beloved Nissan Quest (Mercury Villager cousin) for sale on Ebay.
This van has served us well. It was used by me before being handed down to my daughter. I got my daughter another car instead of the 'minivan look', nd this van now gets used sparingly.
It has a new battery, t is registered through 2016, nd past smog this past summer for the new registration.
AC Blows Cold.Heater Blows Warm.
Very clean interior (above Average condition) for the year and considering it is a minivan. Exterior has some scratches and light dings here and there (average wear), ut nothing out of the ordinary for the age.
Seats adjust in the back to remove/move Bench seats to make it a nice Cargo Van that is decent on Gas Mileage.
The van does not have a Radio, nd the REAR AC/Heat System stopped working earlier this year. The Front AC/Heat work great and do enough to keep rear passengers comfortable.The tires have tread left on it, ut could and should be replaced when you are ready.
The Van Starts Easy. (It likes to have a good warm-up on these cold mornings)Brakes well.Steering is good.Gets good gas mileage, bout 20mpg average city and hwy mix.
These vans are known for bad motor mounts. This one was replaced a couple years ago along with the passenger lower ball joints. It does have a cracked windshield. I put resin on it, ts not very visible when driving, ut it is there. The Visors are switched from driver to passenger. I will explain further when you pick up the van. The Speedometer on occasion reads about 20-30 mph more than actual speed. So if you are driving 20mph, he speedometer may show 50 mph. As you go to HWY speeds, t becomes accurate.
I really don't want to sell the van, s the price value doesn't really match how well the van runs but we need space and I don't want to spend more money on registrations/smog/insurance for a van that barely gets used anymore.
For an extra Price, do have additional wheels and tires available and will show you them when you pick up the van.
During Summer of this year this van was driven to Stockton Ca and back to LA. I let a relative use it as he had visitors, t was also driven to Yosemite National Park and then back to LA. By the same relative, t was again driven to San Diego and back to LA. Very Reliable!
The van is not perfect. It has its average defects here and there. But as is, t can be driven and has been driven reliably for the past year and past Smog easily. For the price, nd for the value, ou are getting a great vehicle. Just don't expect it to be perfect when you aren't paying for a perfect price.
If buyer wants me to re-Smog it for sale, DD $80 to final price to complete smog fees.
Before bidding or offering, lease make sure you have any and all your questions answered first.
We still use the van on occasion, o the miles will be a little higher than 197,222 when sold.
