This 1991 Nissan Figaro was recently imported from Japan and has 80K kilometers (50K miles).
With a clean and rust-free body, this car appears to be a well-cared-for example of the low-production retro city car. Finished in Lapis Grey over white leather with a white top, the car was recently serviced and is sold with a clean Pennsylvania title. Vin: FK1000568
The 1950s-inspired interior is original and in very good condition with a crack free dash pad, and clean headliner and door panels. HVAC, power windows and locks are said to be functional. The original radio will require an FM frequency converter in order to receive a signal. The Retro-themed controls and switches operate as new. The white convertible top is the original unit and is fully functional. The fuel-injected 1.0L turbocharged inline-four produces 75 hp and is paired to a 3-speed automatic gearbox. Upon its arrival stateside, the car received a thorough inspection and tune-up.
Based on the Nissan Micra, the Figaro drew heavily on the Citroën 2CV and the Fiat 500 for its fixed-frame convertible top design. With initial production planned for only 8,000 units, production was increased to 12,000 units in order to satisfy demand. The car proved so popular that Nissan held a lottery to determine prospective buyers.
