Incredibly rare and awesome 1989 Nissan Pao for sale!
One of four vintage-inspired cars designed and built at the "Pike Factory" in Japan by Nissan in 1989. Certain design elements such as the hatch and split rear windows were inspired by design features on older french and British cars.
51,000 were built between 1989 and 1991. It's finally legal in the US now that it's over 25 years old. Right hand drive!
Mechanically, this car is identical to a Nissan Micra, so parts are available.
Excellent all original condition, only 122,000 km (70,000 ish miles). Right hand drive. Always garaged. Just received $3000 of new work including extensive tune up, all new belts, hoses, new fluids, new front and rear suspension (struts, springs, control arm, etc). Runs awesome! This is an amazing little wagon that is unlike anything most people have seen.
This one is the loaded PK10GFW model. 5 speed transmission, full canvas top, original seafoam green-ish paint, working A/C! Original interior in great shape.
Paint and interior are in very good, original condition. Seats are in great shape, no tears. Some very minor wear/patina to surfaces, but all things considered it is a VERY clean car in excellent condition. Refer to photos and in-person inspection. Dash in good shape as well. 1" spot in headliner where it pulled slightly away from corner. Some minor stains on surface of parcel shelf below dash. Radio and everything (including a/c) work well. Underside very solid as photos show.Full documentation and repairs from 1989 with original owner! This car has traveled far and wide. It started life in Japan, moved to England, traveled Europe, the alps, then moved to France, and finally moved over here. Still have the old Japanese inspection, French insurance, and British tags.
There's even a french magazine included with an article featuring this specific car! It was also recently shot in a US commercial.
