Up for Auction is my 300ZX. I recently purchased this car last year from the 2nd owner of it. making me only the 3rd owner. I had plans to restore this car to factory specs and drive it a couple days of the week. I was working through the interior and about to start on the engine when I was offered a deal on another car I cannot pass up. so I have to thin the herd and let this one go. The pictures speak for themselves. please ask me a question if you still have one after looking at the photos and reading the details below. The good:JDM Engine installed by previous owner. Timing belt had been done at some point (see Japanese decal on belt cover in photo) but I'm not sure of the mileage on it now. Engine sounds great. makes great power. and is very quiet. no lifter ticking. Fresh Mobil 1 oil and filter with less than 100 miles. Fresh Rear Diff oil with less than 100 miles. Fresh Transmission gear oil with less than 100 miles. Brand new rear diff mount bushings (done by Kevin at the Austin Z clinic)One piece aluminum driveshaftNew tires on all 4 with less than 1. 00 miles on them. Car comes with brand new polyurethane front bumper I have not installed yet. Check out the photo for the exact unit. Car also had brand new Pioneer single din head unit. mounted in a custom molded dash bezel. Unit syncs with any smartphone and the unit is extremely impressive. Backup camera has also been installed and functional. Ash tray has been converted to a cup holder. The dash is in great shape with no cracks or warping. Front seats have new leather. Back seats are in great shape. JDM Tail lights installed by previous owner. Title is clean and clear. in my name. in hand. and car just passed TX inspection. The car doesnt have any major leaks or use any fluids. There is a minor power steering fluid leak. but I think 99. 9% of 300zx's have this. The bad:There is an exhaust heat shield rattle at certain RPM's. very low range. so only when taking off in first or second. There is a dent on the driver's front fender. Not terrible. just minor damage. There is also some other body issues. about on par for a 25 year old car. The window tint is starting to purple. There is a wear-through spot on the driver side interior door panel. and some other issues with a hew interior panels. again. on par with most 25 year old cars. but nothing that cant be fixed for cheap. The fog lights are missing. I was going to install Z1 foglight ducts in the new front bumper. I'm confident this car can be driven anywhere in the US without major issues.
