Description

93 Nissan Maxima. Car has not been driven in 2 years. Needs Battery and Servicing. See below for details.BODY: Good overall shape. One dent on rear fender as shown in picture. Clear coat has come off all the top surfaces. Sides below pin stripe fine. Tires have good tread but may have aging issues.INTERIOR: No tears in fabric. Seats need good cleaning. Carpet needs extra cleaning has many soft drink stains on the carpet but can be cleaned. Dash has several small cracks on top (see pictures) Has original owners manual and spare.HISTORY: I purchased this car from an individual in April of 2007. This car is a local car I think. Not sure as to its history prior to my purchase. Since I've owned it has been in no accidents other than the lower fender scrap on a steal pipe I backed into. This was a work car till I parked it two years ago.REASON FOR PARKING: After having the timing belt timing belt idler and water pump replaced the engine developed a slow speed miss. I drove it for 5 or 6000 miles like this but then bought another work car.ENGINE and TRANSMISSION: Transmission was replaced in 2007 right after I purchased car. The transmission was from a salvage yard and had no issues up till I parked it. After they installed the transmission the cruise control never worked again. The engine has never used oil or had any issue until I had the timing belt and water pump replaced. It could have been coincidence or they may have installed the timing belt incorrectly. I had 2 separate mechanics look at it and listen to it but did not physically check anything. Both mechanics gave 2 different opinions. One said timing issue and the other said bad or clogged injector. I am not a mechanic so I didn't know which one to believe so I just bought another work car. I drove the car missing for several months with no issues. The car cranks and runs as it did when I parked it (still missing). I drove it about 10 miles and everything seemed the same. Come look and check it out if you wish. Questions welcome. May be a simple fix or not. I don't know that's why I'm selling as is.FUNCTIONALITY: Engine runs but misses. Transmission seems ok but has been setting 2 years. A/C worked when parked but now does not get cold (compressor runs). Radio smells after its been on a few seconds so I'll say it doesn't work.P/S works Power Windows work Sunroof works Lights alarm and door keypad work.(forgot digital code for door keypad but can tell you how to reset it if you want to) power locks work power seats work. All lights on dash go off as they should when cranked. According to Auto Check the odometer was beyond its mechanical limits the day it was purchased at the dealer by the original owner. Don't think that is correct. I also do not think the car has 1264000 miles on it. The odometer functions properly. If this is an issue I can probably locate the original owner. Thanks
