Description

EXTREMELY RARE CAR - never imported to the United States
Shipped directly to Anchorage, K from Yokohama City, apan in Spring of 2012 by a US veteran and his family. This veteran loves this car and did not want to sell her, ut because of a family illness, e decided to let her go. I recently purchased this car for the purpose of presenting her to the Nissan collectors in the world, nd hopefully she will find a home as good as the one she had with this young man I recently met.
This Skyline has the G18 four cylinder, he most powerful of three offered with a factory rated 105 HP. This one runs upgraded twin SU/Hitachi carbs in place of its original, ingle unit and is now likely to match the L20-powered 2000GT 120 HP.

This car has a NISMO Spec sticker on it which means the original owner took it back to Nissan to go through the high performance wing of Nissan. In 1972 it cost around $15k to have this done to this Skyline. This is why this particular Skyline would be considered uber rare.
- 1972 Nissan Skyline 1800GL - 5 speed manual / right hand drive

- Upgraded by Nissan to run twin SU/Hitachi carbs

- She is registered and titled here in Alaska
- In very good condition - mechanical / body / interior
- There is the smallest amount of rust at the bottom of the doors on the passenger side and drivers side. However, here is no rust at all in the door frame, nd absolutely none on the undercarriage of the car. That is actually astounding. No rust.
- There is some electrical issue because the headlights, rake lights, linkers are not working. I don't know anyone in Anchorage qualified to work on this car and I am not going to attempt to fix it. That will be up to the new owner.

- There is a small tear in the upholstery on the driver's seat
A thick clear notebook full of papers with every oil change, very trip to the mechanic over the last 44 years, ll in Japanese, omes with the car.

Here is a youtube video of the car being driven yesterday.
