1956 Oldsmobile Super 88

This is an example of an absolutely fabulous restoration. This car has been gone through by each nut and bolt. I guarantee you will not find another one like this. This is a particularly long car, ith the Continental kit, hich certainly gives it a unique factor. Driving this car is a breeze. You can turn the steering wheel with one finger and the brakes make the car stop on a dime. This car is currently owned by Dieter Quester, n active touring car racing driver from Austria. He has competed in Formula 1 and 53, 4-hour races. He likes his vehicles immaculate and concours ready, nd that is a perfect description of this Olds.

Interior:

The red leather interior is simply incredible. From the dash to the convertible top cover, verything has been done properly and well cared for. The gauge cluster is functioning properly and the dashboard has been completely restored. All details on the dash are perfect from the paint to the chrome trim.

Exterior:

The gloss black paint job is stunning. I would rate it 10/10 without a question in my mind. The lines of this car are so unique; people are asking questions everywhere you go. The black convertible top is brand new and has been completely restored from the hydraulic pump to the cloth. The wheels and chrome are all in excellent condition and have no signs of pitting or blemishes. The underside is immaculate. There is no rust whatsoever; you could eat off the bottom of this car. The rear of this car has the Continental kit, hich gives it a unique flair and a very cool look. The deluxe wheel caps look great and are a highly desired option for this vehicle.

Drivetrain:

The 324.3ci V8 engine is smooth as butter and produces plenty of power to get up and go. The three speed automatic transmission handles the power well. The power steering and brakes setup make this 4,000lb machine much easier to handle. She drives beautifully, sing independent coil springs in the front and leaf springs in the rear. The engine bay is immaculate with fresh paint everywhere you look.
