Description

1954 Oldsmobile Super 88 sedan

Mileage: 1114541.

Car is in very good condition for its age. Runs, drives and stops. No rust. Solid floor boards and trunk. Doors, Rockers, Quarters rear and front in very good condition.

-All glass is good except driver’s side window is cracked. It's about a $55.00 cost to replace for a do it yourselfer. The passenger side rear vent window is also cracked. You'll see it in the pictures.

-Paint is good especially from the 10 foot view. Up close there are some flaws. A couple of scratches and some light paint in and around the hood area but nothing that screams paint me.

- All chrome is there and in very good condition. I have installed a NOS front bumper which is perfect. The other 2 main bumper parts, the valance and the mid bumper have been re-chromed.

-The tires are Croker period correct bias-ply tires and have plenty of tread left on them.

-Brakes are drum brakes and in good condition. Rear brakes were replaced about 2000 miles ago with the rear drums being turned at the same time.

-Exhausted has lake pipes plus the rear tail pipe still works. The car spent a lot of its life in Arizona (thus the lack of rust). The previous owner attached the third exhaust pipe to provide additional cooling for the engine. There also is an aftermarket fan attached to the radiator but I haven’t had to use it very much. The exhaust is very solid.

-Car has power steering. Both power steering hoses were replaced.

-The engine is 324 CI V8 Engine with a Quadrajet 4 b. Carburetor. The carburetor was professionally rebuilt and runs fantastic.

-Recently tune up with new plugs, points, rotor, and condenser. Runs very well.

-I had the 12V generator professionally rebuilt. It works and looks fantastic.

-New air filter, oil recently changed with new filter.

-Transmission shifts fine, recently had filter and fluid changed.

-The interior is also in very good condition. The previous owner had the seats re-upholstered and carpet replaced and they look good. The door panels are in good shape to. The driver’s side panel does show a little more wear and tear but that’s to be expected. It has seat belts.

-The dash is all there. Even the clock works. I have added an aftermarket stereo with iPod and CD options. It is in the glove compartment so no holes were drilled to install it. Same with the speakers. I build speaker boxes for the front and rear and they are held in place with 2 way tape. The original radio with the wonder-bar works too, however the antenna is connected to the aftermarket stereo.

Original front bumper is included.

I have tried to explain in detail, information about the car. If I missed anything or you have questions please contact me.
