The paint is bright red is very glossy and shows very well. No scratches dents or major imperfections.
The white interior is original and in excellent condition . seats are very clean and show no major wear. The carpet is original and in great condition. headliner is also in excellent condition along with the door panels and dash. The dash has had one small repair on the corner of the drivers side near the bottom . Overall the interior is excellent could use the front A pillar panels to be replaced . They are cheap. It has a AM/Fm cassette radio that works, power lock, tilt wheel and cruise complete the Salon package.
Mechanically the car is excellent . It was always serviced and garage kept. The engine starts right up and idles very smooth. It's a 350 rocket with a 4 barrel carb. The heat works and the Air condition is Ice cold. The car drives really well . Its holds the road very solid and the suspension feels great. It has a newer set of Michelin tires on it which sit on the Original Rally wheels. and the brakes are also excellent. New Master cylinder and new fan clutch. I just replaced the engine oil with new oil and air filters. Transmission service with fresh fluid and gasket.Fresh tune up with new plugs cap and rotor. I would drive this car anywhere.
The cutlass Salon is a Rare model. Most were supreme's The Salon gave you more of the luxury item's like power lock', tilt and cruise . Factory Ac and more.
I have added a New Vinyl top to freshen the look of the car. I had the car completely detailed and buffed and it truly looks amazing. The chrome bumpers are excellent as is the trim around the car. The Trunk is very solid as well.If your looking for an amazing driver and a car that is very reliable then this is it. I would even say it's something you can take to a Local car show and it will do very well. It truly is in above average condition and again Rare being a Cutlass Salon coupe.
