Description

1969 OLDSMOBILE VISTA CRUISER STATION WAGON
I bought thisoriginal Vista Cruiser Station Wagon 20 years ago for my daughter as a safe "driver" when she took a six-week trip across the USA aftergraduating from college. She lived in Colorado for one year and drove the Vista while living there. After she got a new job and subsequent Volvo, I drove the car back East where I drove itfor 4-5 years. I put the car in storage 15 years ago, in 2001. I pulled it out of storage last week for this sale. If you want a car that draws attention and conversation wherever you drive, this is it! Check out the photos and video. The headliner is near perfect, as are the dash and all four door panels. The floor carpet (twisted loop) will need a good shampoo to brighten it up. The front seat has the usual cracks on the driver's side bench and the rear seat is in great shape with no tears or rips. It was a running car when I parked it and it does turn over. I will be putting afresh battery in it in thenext few days. Please note: I am selling it as is, where it is now. If and when I get it running, it is a bonus for the purchaser. The jetting is currently set up for the mountains of Colorado and surprisingly it ran great in the Adirondack Mountains as well. It appears to be the original motor, transmission and rear axle, power steering, airconditioning and air cleaner.
International buyers welcome. If you are old enough to know and/or remember, it has the distinctive Oldsmobile exhaust sound.

PLEASE SEE NEW VIDEO BELOW FOR SOLID BODY FOOTAGE**AND VIDEO INCLUDES**NEWUNDERCARRIAGEPHOTOSand CHARLOTTE MOTOR SPEEDWAY LAP
As expected, when the car was jacked up today we saw:~ SOLID frame~ SOLID Inner Rockers “factory original”~ SOLID Rocker Panels “factory original”~ SOME rust through on the 3rd seat well. Nothing major.Again, this was a Colorado car = not a rust bucket.
NOTE: I am a relatively new eBayMotors seller, but in the bigger picture, I have a long history as a reliable seller/buyer of vehicles in other venues. I want to share eBay buyer feedback that I received this week from my first eBay Motors sale in September --- sold a 1953 5-Window GMC/Chevy Pickup to an international buyer in England. The buyer's shipping method took over 60 days for him to receive the truck overseas (UK), and the time limit for composing eBay feedback had expired. Please see the screenshot of his eBay note to methis week (in Vista photo album). It reads: "Hi Tony, Finallygot the truck, it's FANTASTIC, can't leave feedbackbecause only got 60 days, and shipping took longer than usual. THIS GUY IS SUPERSTRAIGHT AND HONEST DESCRIPTIONS. Relax with this seller."
