Super cool Project Rod1958 Oldsmobile 88 HardtopThis is a true head turner one of kind look. keep it AS-IS and enjoy the attention or take it from here and have a nice solid car with only rust issue is on the rocker point. We sanded this car down pretty much to bare metal in most areas and you can see the body and know what your getting from the get go! we applied coats of professional quality clearcoats just as we would on a complete restore. This style of paint job is referred to as "Patina" which gives it a rusty old paint look on purpose. As you can see the stainless still looks great with very little dings and the chrome still has some shine but there is some pitting in areas. This is a DRIVER quality with original interior and you can see no carpet and floorpans are in good shape(we can install brand new interior if you like here at the shop for a added fee). We installed a electric fuel ignition on the original 371cu engine and have gone over the brake system(not disc but for added fee we can install a disc brake system) all lights work as they should and automatic trans shifts perfect. nbsp;this is certainly a one of a kind that will draw people at any car show or local meet.
